Find the first four Canine Warriors, hidden in Kusa Village. Two are in caves, one is in bamboo, and one is in a flowery patch that needs to be restored.
Head back to Princess Fuse (fight a dog on the way). Leave the village and restore the Mermaid Spring (for future use). Head to Sasa Sanctuary, which is only accessible if you go through the gate.
Talk to the fire-carrying sparrow in the dry spring. Restore it in a digging game. Learn a new move. To open the door to go further, drag water from the spring into the bamboo stick above it.
Once in Agata Forest, go up the hill and fill Kushi's water barrel by dragging water into it. She's strong, she can drag it back to her village by herself.
Back in Kamiki Village, complete the turnip-picking game if you haven't yet, draw the moon in the sky if it isn't nighttime, and talk to Mushi's dog. Once you have all the canine orbs head back to Kusa Village.
Keep attacking Crimson Helm even though he's not taking damage. Once he loses his armor, blow the fire away and go in for the kill. Susano will help you finish him off.
